Washington and Third St. Pedestrian Crash (March, 2025)

Information About the Crash

In response to a CIAA FOIA request, AAPD released the UD-10 report of a March 7 crash at the intersection of Washington and Third St.  The crash was not listed in the April, 2025 City Administrator’s report, which did include details of two other pedestrian crashes that happened in March.

The UD-10 report describes how two pedestrians were walking westbound in the crosswalk, crossing Third St.  One of them was struck by a left-turning vehicle.

CIAA visited the site of the crash on June 12, 2025 and collected images of the intersection.  Looking at the site, and with the information in the UD-10, it is difficult to discern what factors may have contributed to this crash.

This post will be updated if more details about this crash or the potential causes are released.
